The cast website was designed to give teachers and future teachers some tools on how to better teach their students, while also promoting the use of something called the Universal Design of Learning better known as (UDL). The reason that this website is promoting the Universal Design of Learning is so that teachers can reach all of their students learning types, while only having to teach a subject one time rather than multiple times. Some other reasons why this program is important for teachers to know about is that according to the cast website â€Å"CAST researches and develops innovative solutions to make education more inclusive and effective (cast.org, 2016).† This is an important thing to know because it allows teachers more ways of differentiating in their classrooms so that they can make sure to get all of their classes learning needs met when they are teaching.
